HUMANITARIAN GROUNDS

Immigration on Humanitarian and Compassionate grounds is the pathway for those in Canada applicants, who face great risk to their life and well being if they go back to their home country.

Refugees are people who are forced to leave their home country because of political turmoil and are not able to return to their home country. Canada’s refugee protection system allows such candidates to claim permanent residency under humanitarian and compassionate grounds.

The applications are categorized into two sections:

1. Resettlement from outside Canada
2. Claiming refugee protection from inside Canada
